Situated in its own private garden, the gorgeous Georgian-built Heritage Homestead offers couples and young families a warm and inviting dwelling to call home. BLACKWOOD PARK
With a rich history dating back to the 1800's situated in the pristine wilderness and idyllic surrounds of the Mole Creek Valley, Blackwood Park is proudly our home. Originally from warm, tropical Cairns, this is our very own 'escape to the country' that we are lucky enough to share with you.
With a range of livestock including alpacas, sheep, chooks, and even an apiary, our farm is a labour of love. Help feed our poultry and collect their organic eggs or, for our more adventurous guests, help us herd sheep between paddocks.
Carefully manicured to perfection, our gardens offer tranquility along with a place to absorb the sound of nature. Our grounds and glasshouse allow you to help yourself to fresh seasonal herbs, fruit, and vegetables for a healthy afternoon snack or a meal back in your private cottage.

“I cannot speak highly enough of our stay in the Heritage Cottage. We stayed three nights with our 9 and 2 year old. The accommodation was clean and homely. Shane and Yuko were fabulous hosts and made us feel so incredibly welcome into their home. My children loved feeding the chickens and ducks and absolutely loved the alpacas and lambs. We really appreciated all the little touches in the cottage - the wood, milk, juice and breakfast provisions were appreciated. The fact that a decorated Christmas tree had been placed in the living space was a fabulous touch which we really appreciated. The gardens that surround the cottage are absolutely stunning, the views amazing and the property well maintained and idyllic.”
